Running has a lot of perks! I love it! It's like a community! Well, I guess it is. Joggers would greet us GOOD MORNING! and it felt awesome! It felt a lot better than getting hit on. Haha!
So, the goal was to run at least 10k without looking like we got trampled over. The goal is to be able to say good morning back without losing a beat while running. The goal is to smile and say good morning. It's pretty hard especially for me. I can't seem to get my body to coordinate. The moment I breathe out of my mouth, I trip on my feet. How lame is that? Haha!
But it's a process. I can run 3k without stopping now and without looking like I'm out of air. That's an awesome achievement. We've been at this running thing for 2 weeks. Not bad. We've got 2 more weeks before The North Face run and we're feeling good. I, personally would want to finish that race but if I don't get to the finish line on time, I'm perfectly fine. It's already a win for me since it's a first step to being fit! Did I mention SEXY? Haha!
